Pesado Depth Adjuster Tamper

Pesado have developed a unique and easy-to-use depth adjuster, which provides a uniform tamper level and pressure ensuring even more precise and consistent extraction yields. Using the same coffee, grind and volume, anyone can get the same extraction results, perfectly precise, every time. This tool is designed to simplify the tamping process in busy environments or where multiple baristas are involved.

The PESADO 58.5 tamper has been created to perfect the coffee tamping procedure. The diameter is 58.5mm with a precision machined 90 degree edge to maximise basket coverage.

The sharp edges extend the effective tamping area and get full coverage of the basket, leaving no residue and maximising consistency. Reducing un-tamped grounds means reducing the chance of channelling, and increased consistency over the coffee puck will result in a more even extraction and a higher extraction yield.

These tampers have a nice weight balance making even tamping easier.

Handles have been machined with the most advanced tools for absolute precision and finished to have a smooth feel and a uniquely crafted colour code.

Colours available are:

White, Teal, and Aqua (anodized).

Designed to fit baskets for an E61 head ie' Rocket, La Marzocco, VBM, Rancillio, VST etc, as well as the new Pesado 58.5mm Quartz Basket. (note, some older baskets have an indent line part way down, this tamper like some others may not be able to tamp any deeper than that line).
