JOIN US IN DISCOVERY
A new year, a new Advent Calendar. To celebrate our third calendar we searched far and wide for the very best, and also not very far too. Join us on a 24 day discovery that takes us from the mountains of Costa Rica, all the way back to a Northland farm right here in Aotearoa. Experience new varieties that've never been bought to New Zealand, try the same coffee processed in different ways by the worlds best producers, experience coffee from an origin you've never had before, and flavours you never knew coffee could have. This calendar is the culmination of a years worth of work and discovery, and we're so excited to share it with you!
24 BEAUTIFUL SPOILERS BELOW
Every coffee we've chosen for a special reason, either it's an origin most have never tried before, a variety that stands out above the rest, or the coffee has been used with the best of the best in competitions. Every coffee is unique and tells a delicious story that can be enjoyed in the cup.

Frequently Asked Questions
All of the coffees are roasted to what we would consider a 'Modern Light Roast' profile. The flavour profiles range from Funky to Extremely Delicate. Although we suggest trying these remarkable coffees, they differ from our espresso blends and should not be treated as such.
Similar to last year, our coffees are delivered in sealed tubes to be frozen upon receipt. This ensures a consistent age and development for all coffees. Freezing your coffee is of course optional, and will still taste amazing if left in your cupboard and out of the sun.
This year we're also excited to sell a Batch & Espresso Calendar. This calendar comes with a smaller range of 12 coffees, each sealed in a 200g bag. Additionally with this option, you'll get a custom tasting and recipe card for every coffee.
To guarantee delivery before December, all Advent Calendars will be couriered out November 25th for all customers.
If you order more products with your calendar, these will be reserved and shipped at the same time as your Calendar. If you'd like your other items earlier, please email us letting us know, or place two seperate orders.
Yes! We want as many people to experience this wonderful calendar as possible. Unfortunately we cannot guarantee overseas orders will arrive prior to December 1st but we will try our best.
Yes in theory (and it would taste incredible), however the small pre-dosed tubes are intended for filter where you aren't at the constants of pulling a good extraction with a weird coffee on your first shot. We do however have a Batch & Espresso calendar available which ships with 12 curated coffees, all in 200g bags with included espresso recipes!
No. Each tube is dosed to be frozen and ground coffee should never be frozen. If you are in need of a coffee grinder checkout our range of home filter grinders here.
BUT HOW SHOULD I BREW MY COFFEE!
With each tube having enough coffee for between one and two coffees, it's understandable to want to have the perfect cup.
We heavily recommend that you stick to your regular recipes, that you're comfortable pouring. But if you want to try the same way we've been brewing. All of our recipes for each brew style is below.
